In times of insecurities, always hold on to words of truth.
I've watch so many insecurities happens before my eyes, because a lot of people grasp the idea of a 'perfect' life from what they see, which is actually what is selectively shown by the person who displays it.
In a simpler word,
A couple who seems to be in a perfect relationship won't share the times they argue to a point that they hurt each others feeling so deeply
Or
A good looking person would always, selectively browse for the picture of the perfect angle and pose, to be shared to many. Plus the filter, if needed.
Or
A rich person usually shows what can we do or have, in case we had excessive amount of money
I'm not saying that it's wrong. I'm not even dare to say if I'm at their shoes I would do things differently. Yet I'm saying you're not being fair to yourself if you're feeling insecure because you always seems to have less than what other people have.
There's always two side of the stories of people's life.
You wish to be on other people's places yet so many people can only dream that they had what you have at the moment. Sometimes they're not even allowed to dream, because they scared they'll aim for too much that they cannot bear it when reality strikes.
You are you, and God has made you as you are. So be you, not only 'just' you, but also the best of you.
As the quote says
"Dalam perkara keduniaan, pandanglah org yg lagi rendah dari kita,
Dalam perkara ukhrawi (akhirat) pandanglah org yg lagi tinggi dari kati
Nescaya pada keduanya timbul keinsafan"
