foolish

When the light finally shines,
And the bulb finally lit
And senses trickle back in
I finally embraced that
The foolish one is me,
For trying to force into mold that didn't fit.

What came easy will be gone easy too
I made peace with myself
Knowing that I gave a good fight.
I earned my takeaways and I tried
I know I can try harder but I'm losing myself in the process
Then I realized that you can't reignite the flame that's out of its fuel.

Yes I looked back at the clues
The red flags
The warning people alerted me
The disapproval looks people gave

I was foolish then but I hopefully know better now
That my worth is not placed on their judgement
That i could try to defy possibilities but who am I kidding.

I will learn and do better
I promise you, Sofwah.
I will do better next time :)

You know I always take pride in how good my memory works. I can remember details, information, and able to retain & recall them whenever it is needed. I remember small minute detail of a person, what she/he likes or dislike, what they're allergic of, preferences, pet peeves, depending how close they are to me. 26th of June When we got into a little misunderstanding and you go to sleep upset and I went about my days pretending like nothing happened when in reality i was just as affected I think over the time i became quite good at pretending putting on smiles and working, as if it was all normal when the truth I keep on dropping things, i was all over the place I am CLEARLY not in a great mood and later that night you called me up and asked if I had my dinner already and all you said "bawak tupperware.
